Prior to founding KLS in 1989, Mr. Langhaus spent two years as an Investment Banker and Vice President in the Asset Management Group at Shearson Lehman Brothers. Prior to 1987, Mr. Langhaus was Senior Tax Manager with the international accounting firm of Touche Ross specializing in the areas of individual taxation, corporate taxation and tax-oriented investments. Mr. Langhaus was Chairman of the Tax Oriented Investment Committee of Touche Ross' New York office. He received his B.A. degree from Queens College, City University of New York in 1978 and an M.B.A. degree with high honors from Pace University Graduate School of Business in 1980. He is a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Langhaus is a Managing Director and member of the Investment Committee of KLS.
